Generally referred to as “galvanized aircraft cable” or “GAC”. Common galvanized cable should NOT be used in aircraft applications, however, as specially-rated cable is required. Galvanized cable is manufactured in sizes from 1/8” to 3/8” in both 7×7 and 7×19 designs. This type of rope is great for many applications and is economical material for barriers and equipment controls.
